A Collection of Approximately 140 Vintage Watch Crystals and Replacement Lenses
Description
This collection comprises approximately 140 individual vintage replacement watch crystals and lenses, primarily constructed from clear and variously tinted translucent plastic or acrylic material. The lot is presented loosely in a rectangular red plastic tray. The items are predominantly circular or oval in form, exhibiting a variety of domed and flat profiles, and vary significantly in diameter and depth, consistent with salvaged watchmaker stock or new old stock (NOS) replacement parts. Many pieces retain small, circular paper identification labels encapsulated beneath the crystal or affixed to the back. These labels bear various markings, including numerical sizing codes (e.g., 13, 309), symbols (such as stylized flowers), and manufacturer text, notably “VTF,” “E.C.,” and “Made in France.” The lot also includes one single lens set within a black rim, an orange plastic tool or object handle, and loose paper cuttings.
