Enfield Art Deco Wood Cased Mantel Clock
Description
A single British Art Deco mantel clock manufactured by Enfield, likely dating from the 1930s. The case features a curved, domed top and stepped geometric sides, constructed from polished brown wood veneer. The circular clock face is set within a chrome or nickel-plated bezel. The metallic silvered dial features bold black Arabic numerals and black spade hands. The dial is marked “Enfield” above the center arbor, and “FILLANS & SONS HUDDERSFIELD” and “MADE IN ENGLAND” below the center. Two visible winding arbor holes suggest an 8-day movement, typically time and strike.
