A Pair of Meyda Tiffany Style Two-Light Table Lamp Bases
Description
A pair of identical table lamp bases attributed to Meyda Tiffany or Meyda Lighting, designed in a columnar, paneled Art Deco or transitional style. The bases are constructed from a heavy composite material or reddish-brown finished metal, likely cast iron or spelter, intended to support a large glass shade (not present). Each base features a central stem rising from a flared, decorative foot, topped by a bifurcated black fitting designed to accommodate two light bulbs. Electrical wiring is attached, with one cord bearing a label indicating a maximum wattage requirement of 60W. One base is marked on the foot with a handwritten inventory number 501. The items are sold as bases only, without shades.
