Description
A collection of Royal Worcester Evesham Gold porcelain dinnerware and serving wares. The suite of white porcelain or fine ceramic tableware includes a large round serving bowl, two smaller lidded tureens with handles, a small multi-compartment dish, a cup, a large oval fluted baking dish, an oval lidded serving dish, and a boat-shaped dish. Each piece is richly decorated with polychrome botanical and fructiferous motifs depicting various fruits, berries, and corn, and is accented with extensive gilding on rims, handles, and knobs. The lot additionally includes a clear glass cloche and a metal stand holding three iridescent, trumpet-shaped glass vases.
