ONLINE AUCTION OF FURNITURE AND COLLECTABLES INCLUDING POTTERY WARE
Lot 371:
A Collection of Ceramic and Pottery Vessels, Various Styles
Description
A collection of approximately ten ceramic and pottery vessels, predominantly pitchers, creamers, and jugs, showcasing a variety of styles and likely periods. Materials range from glazed ceramic with applied decoration, including hand-painted floral motifs and figural scenes, to pieces featuring metallic luster glazes in hues of copper, blue, and teal, often accented with gold trim. One prominent teal jug/pitcher on the right, consistent with “Pitcher with Flowers from Vallauris, 1960s” examples found in web intelligence, features a textured or molded pattern and bears two white auction stickers: ‘SHELBY AUCTIONEERS LOT 371’ and ‘6182’. A smaller, plain blue creamer is visible towards the rear left, and several pieces exhibit ruffled or scalloped rims.
