A Vintage Spanish Folk Art Tile in Rustic Carved Frame with A Pair of Devotional Books
Description
A vintage Spanish folk art ceramic tile set within a rustic, hand-carved dark wood frame. The central tile depicts a hand-painted figure of a man holding a large wheel, flanked by a workbench with tools and greenery, executed in a colorful, folk art style. The frame features wave-like patterns on the sides and circular, cross-like motifs in the corners. Adhered to the top edge of the frame is a white sticker inscribed “G0062”. Accompanying the tile are two small antique-style devotional books, bound in aged brown leather or vellum. The left book features a brass-toned cross emblem on the cover and a small metal clasp, while the right book is adorned with an ornate, elongated brass-toned clasp with a central cross detail.
