A Set of Four Royal Victoria Wade Pottery Ceramic Spirit Dispensers
Description
A set of four Royal Victoria Wade Pottery ceramic spirit dispensers. This lot comprises two larger, horizontally-oriented white-glazed barrels, each with two dark bands and adorned with colorful, multi-floral transfer-printed bouquets. One larger barrel is labeled “PORT” and the other “BRANDY” in black Old English script, both fitted with cork stoppers. The set also includes two smaller, upright barrel-shaped dispensers, white-glazed with two blue bands. One small dispenser is decorated with a detailed transfer print of a fish, and the other with a scene depicting a half-timbered building with figures. Both small dispensers have white screw-top caps and brass-toned spigots. An auction sticker displaying “37 June 2023 1986” is affixed to one large barrel.
