A Collection of Vintage and Later Decorative Figurines and Novelty Items
Description
This lot comprises approximately two dozen small decorative objects, predominantly figurines and novelty items, displayed on a red plastic tray. The majority of the items are crafted from glazed ceramic or porcelain, featuring hand-painted details in a whimsical or kitsch style. One notable turtle figure is made of glass. Specific objects include multiple animal figures such as cows, pigs, horses, cats, rabbits, and deer. Among these are at least two cow-shaped coin banks, one bearing the partial text “FROM BRA” and another with an impressed mark “317” on its base. The collection also features human or anthropomorphic figures, small multi-sectioned or planter-style pieces adorned with applied blue and pink flowers and swan motifs, and a small metal-bladed knife with a striped handle. The collection spans various decorative eras from the mid-20th century onwards.
