Description
A pair of ship models, including a detailed model of the Trinity House Lightship ‘South Goodwin.’ The upper model depicts the Trinity House Lightship ‘South Goodwin,’ featuring a red hull with a black waterline, a prominent red lattice-work light tower, and a white superstructure marked with the number ’17.’ The hull clearly bears the white block lettering ‘SOUTH GOODWIN.’ Several smaller lifeboats are visible, some also marked ‘SOUTH GOODWIN 4.’ This model is supported by a light-colored wooden stand. It is constructed from wood and various mixed materials such as metal and fabric. The lower model is a red-hulled cargo barge or freight vessel with a black waterline and several large, light-colored canvas or fabric covers over its main cargo deck.
