A Set of Eight Hand-Blown Blue-Stemmed Glass Goblets and a Collection of Decorative Plates
Description
A set of eight hand-blown clear glass goblets, each featuring a distinctive translucent blue bell-shaped stem and base. These goblets are consistent with vintage hand-blown glass styles. Accompanying the goblets is a large round decorative plaque, possibly enamel-on-metal, depicting a folk art scene of a figure in a yellow hat leading a brown donkey laden with red and white spheres amidst green foliage on a black ground. A small, unreadable white sticker is affixed to its surface. Also included are three smaller decorative plates, likely ceramic or porcelain, exhibiting an East Asian aesthetic, each fitted with a wire hanger. One oval plate portrays figures in traditional attire within a scenic landscape. A round plate displays two brown, bird-like animals among green leaves. The third, an oval plate, depicts a stylized female figure in elaborate traditional dress surrounded by flowing elements and florals within a yellow and blue border, marked with a small, illegible red rectangular seal containing East Asian characters.
