Description
A collection of thimbles presented in various display cases. The collection comprises a substantial quantity of thimbles, predominantly crafted from ceramic or porcelain, exhibiting a wide array of decorative styles. These include painted landscapes, cityscapes, floral motifs, crests, and character designs such as Mickey Mouse. Numerical markings like ’10’ and ’24’, and text including ‘A’, ‘YS’, ‘I Love’, and ‘England’ are visible on some examples. Interspersed within the collection are metal thimbles in both silver-tone and brass/gold-tone finishes, alongside a group of wooden thimbles adorned with etched or printed scenic designs.
