Description

A Flight and Barr Worcester porcelain tea trio, dating to the late 18th century (circa 1783-1792). The set comprises a scalloped-rimmed plate/saucer with a subtle wavy relief texture, a small fluted bowl, and a handled teacup featuring a similar fluted or swirled body. Each piece is decorated with delicate, hand-painted floral sprigs in a deep magenta/purple hue accented with gilt details, and all rims are finished with gold banding. The style is characterized by its rococo-influenced fluting and scalloping with sparse floral decoration and gilding. No manufacturer’s marks or text are visible on the undersides of the items.
