Lot 103:
A Group of Belleek Porcelain Tableware, including a Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set
Description
A group of five pieces of Belleek porcelain tableware. The lot includes a creamer, a sugar bowl, a fluted plate/saucer, and two additional open vessels, likely teacups or small bowls. The items are crafted from creamy white to pale yellow porcelain, adorned with delicate, organic forms such as shell-like fluting, basketweave patterns, and relief decoration, indicative of a Neoclassical or Rococo Revival style. Four of the pieces bear green printed marks on their undersides, clearly stating “BELLEEK CO. FERMANAGH IRELAND TRADE MARK,” often accompanied by a crest and “ESTABLISHED 1857.” The larger plate displays a different, darker, and less legible mark.
