A Doulton glazed ceramic footed jardinière, impressed and dated 1885. The item features elaborate relief-moulded decoration in a late 19th-century style, showcasing stylized floral and foliate motifs. Its interior is predominantly green with a central star-like pattern in brown and cream, while the exterior displays a palette of cream, green, and brown glazes. The base bears an impressed circular manufacturer’s mark, partially legible, which clearly includes the word “Doulton,” alongside the prominent date “1885” and an additional impressed “V” symbol.
