Description
A First Period Worcester blue and white shell-shaped dessert dish, Gillyflower pattern, circa 1760-1770. Crafted from white porcelain with underglaze blue decoration, the dish features a fluted rim and a raised, scroll-like handle at its rear, both accented with blue brushwork. The central design depicts a cluster of stylized flowers and leaves in various shades of cobalt blue. A blue crescent mark is visible on the underside of the base.
