A Royal Doulton Burslem Artwares Chengdu Bowl, model BA 7, copyrighted 1993, numbered 45 from a limited edition of 250. This contemporary glazed ceramic bowl exhibits an irregular, sculpted rim and a distinctive art pottery aesthetic, featuring a multi-layered glaze. The interior and lower exterior are finished in a speckled teal/blue-green Chêng glaze with reddish-orange accents. The rim and upper exterior showcase an organic, flowing pattern of cream and reddish-brown with prominent black crackling, creating a dynamic, drip-like effect. Markings on the base and an accompanying tag state it is “Hand Blown and Hand Decorated” and intended “FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY.”
