Description

A set of six Leeds Pottery reticulated creamware serving pieces. Comprising two large and two smaller plates with intricately pierced borders, a footed bowl containing a small scoop, a lidded tureen with a floral finial and handles, and a smaller lidded two-handled vessel. The monochromatic cream-colored pieces feature reticulated designs and molded fluting, consistent with a Classical or Rococo-revival style. One large plate is clearly impressed with ‘LEEDSWARE CLASSICAL CREAMWARE ENGLAND,’ while the smallest lidded vessel bears an indistinct impressed stylized floral or leafy mark.
