Lot 37:
A Three-Piece New Hall Porcelain Tea/Coffee Trio Set
Description
A three-piece New Hall porcelain tea/coffee trio set, comprising one handled teacup, one handle-less bowl (likely a coffee can or slop bowl), and one saucer. Each piece is crafted from white porcelain with subtly scalloped/fluted edges, adorned with gilt rims and a repeating decorative band of linked purplish-red ovals interspersed with gilt accents. The saucer’s well features concentric gilt rings and a small central floral motif in matching colors. A handwritten tag attached to the teacup identifies the manufacturer as New Hall.
