Description
An Ault England Arts & Crafts Art Pottery Jug, circa 1880s. The glazed ceramic jug features a dark brown, undulating rim and a C-scroll handle. The body is adorned with relief-molded, swirling organic motifs, transitioning to a vibrant, mottled or drip glaze in greens, yellows, creams, and rusts. The underside bears an impressed mark, likely “AULT”, consistent with Ault Pottery production, alongside a handwritten sticker stating “AULT ENGLAND 1880s”.
