A cream-colored ceramic infuser teapot, circa 1870, featuring molded relief decoration of floral and foliate motifs within rectangular panels. The pot comprises a main, faceted vessel with a C-scroll handle and short spout, a removable rectangular infuser insert with a perforated base, and a matching domed lid topped with a small finial and vent hole. The material exhibits a matte finish and visible texture, possibly bisque or a matte glaze. No discernible text or manufacturer’s markings are visible.
