Description

A William Moorcroft Florian Ware two-handled bowl, in the ‘Peacock Feather’ pattern. Crafted from pottery, it features a distinctive crackle glaze throughout its surface in a palette of celadon, blue-green, and deep blue. The interior is decorated with relief-molded floral and foliate motifs encircling a plain central well, while the exterior displays repeating stylized floral medallions and scrolling foliage. The base bears a handwritten signature in green glaze, clearly reading “W. Moorcroft Burslem.”
