Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian Pottery Vase
Description
A Pilkington’s Royal Lancastrian Pottery vase of ovoid ceramic form, featuring a broad shoulder, a short, slightly tapered neck, and a flared rim. The exterior is covered in an iridescent, lustrous glaze, exhibiting vertical streaking patterns in shades of teal, blue-green, and coppery-bronze. The base is impressed with the numeric code “2128,” a stylized monogram (appearing as intertwined letters, possibly ‘PR’), the letters “VT,” and the word “ENGLAND.”
