Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware Jardiniere
Description
A Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware jardiniere, featuring a grey-blue body with extensive applied relief decoration in muted teal, dark blue, and cream, depicting stylized floral and foliate patterns in bands around its barrel-like form. The interior is glazed in a lighter blue, while the exterior exhibits a matte or semi-matte finish, with the relief details having a slightly glossier appearance. A white, U-shaped handle-like element is present atop the rim. The base reveals several impressed markings, including “181”, “SBT”, and a circular mark resembling a “G”, alongside a rectangular impression where a label may have once been.
