Description
A Royal Doulton Flambe ceramic figurine depicting a recumbent rabbit, model number 111. The figurine is rendered in a stylized form with a high-gloss, deep red “Flambé” glaze. Its front paws are finished in a contrasting metallic dark grey. The underside reveals a white ceramic base with a central vent hole, bearing a clear black backstamp featuring a crown motif and the text “MADE IN ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND” encircling a logo, accompanied by the word “FLAMBE” and the number “111.” The “Flambe” designation refers to a specialized glaze type known for its rich, vibrant coloration, indicative of early to mid-20th century Royal Doulton production.
