A Collection of Royal Crown Derby 'Derby porcelain egg and cup with two teddy figures
Description
A collection of porcelain decorative wares, comprising two seated bear figurines and an egg-shaped trinket box on a pedestal stand, All items are crafted from white glazed porcelain, adorned with hand-painted floral motifs in pastel colors (on the egg and bowl) and whimsical polka-dot and bow-tie details (on the bears). The underside of the egg stand bears a distinct red printed mark, comprising a crown, a heraldic shield, the text “Derby Posies”, and the Roman numeral “CCXIII” (a Royal Crown Derby date code indicating the year 1950). An impressed number ‘8’ is also visible inside a component of the egg piece.
