A Late 19th/Early 20th Century French Rococo Revival pocket watch holder
Description
This ornate gilt metal pocket watch holder dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, displays Rococo Revival decorative elements including scrolling acanthus leaves and pierced filigree metalwork. The hinged lid features a beveled glass panel, with the interior of the lid lined with a mirror. The body of the casket rests on an elaborate, scrolling four-footed stand. The interior of the box is lined with a creased, reddish-pink fabric.
