A Collection of Antique and Vintage Sterling Silver Thimbles, Brooches, and Accessories
Description
A collection of six silver- items, predominantly sterling silver. This lot includes two thimbles with classic dimpled tops. Also present is a square brooch marked “STERLING” and “PAT’D NOV. 22 ’04” (Patented November 22, 1904) featuring a stylized mermaid or water nymph. A second circular brooch is marked “STERLING” and “MADE IN USA” on its reverse, displaying intertwined initials, possibly “KF” or “FE”, with a central enamel blue cabochon. The collection further comprises a small circular lidded box decorated with a relief of a reclining female figure, possibly a nymph, amidst swirling motifs, and a slender, unmarked bar pin or tie clip.
