A pair of antique sterling silver salt pots, each crafted with intricate pierced-work featuring elaborate floral and foliate motifs that extend into decorative side elements. The underside of each bears the maker’s mark “JCM” along with several indistinct hallmark-like symbols, including one resembling a crowned animal head (possibly a lion passant or leopard’s head) silver assay marks.
