Description
A pair of Empire weighted sterling silver candlesticks. Each candlestick features a stepped circular base, a tapering reeded or plain columnar stem, and a simple cup-shaped bobeche. Visible markings on the underside of one base include ‘MA &’ (possibly ‘MA & Co.’) and ‘STERLING’ or a fineness mark, alongside other minor illegible stamps.
