Description
A pair of Victorian papier mache snuff boxes, each of rectangular form with a hinged lid. The dark, likely black, lacquered surfaces are adorned with iridescent mother-of-pearl inlay around the borders. The larger box additionally features a central oval mother-of-pearl inlay on its lid. Both boxes open to reveal simple, undecorated interiors. No distinguishing markings or text are discernible.
