A Fisher 'Studio-Standard' Component Stereo System with Cabinet and Speakers, Late 20th Century
Description
A Fisher ‘Studio-Standard’ component stereo system, dating from the late 20th Century (likely 1980s-1990s). The ensemble comprises a MT-M22 Full Automatic Linear Tracking Turntable, an AD-M24 Compact Disc Player (marked “MADE IN JAPAN”), a tuner/amplifier with graphic equalizer, and a TAC-M22 Dual Auto Reverse Cassette Deck with Dolby B NR. The predominantly black electronic components are housed within a light-to-medium toned wooden audio cabinet featuring a lift-up lid and a front designed to resemble a four-drawer chest with black knobs. Accompanying the system are two matching freestanding black Fisher M22 speakers. A Fisher operating manual for the MT-M22 and TAC-M22 is also included.
