Description
This collection comprises approximately fifteen assorted glazed ceramic decorative objects, predominantly small planters or desk caddies, attributed to Hornsea Pottery. The items uniformly feature a woodland theme, depicting tree stumps, logs, and various small animals such as fawns, squirrels, and a pair of swans. Rendered in a charming, kitschy style indicative of mid-20th-century manufacture, with painted details in browns, greens, yellows, and naturalistic animal tones. One ceramic piece bears a white sticker with the handwritten number “8864.” Please note, the red plastic tray shown in the image is not included in the sale.
