Three Bottles of Merlot, including a 2016 Journey's End Bluegum
Description
A 2016 Journey’s End Bluegum Merlot from Stellenbosch, South Africa, featuring a gold foil capsule and a dark blue label with a prominent gold logo, noting “One Hundred Barrels Produced.” This bottle also bears a white auction sticker from “Shelbys Auctioneers Ltd” with lot number “72.” Accompanying this are two additional bottles of Merlot: a 2012 “La Patrie” Merlot from Côtes de Bordeaux, France, marked “Appellation d’Origine Protégée,” with a red foil capsule and a cream label depicting an ornate chateau and crest; and a “La Moneda Premium Collection” Merlot from Chile, with a silver screw cap and a dark grey label illustrating a building. All bottles are standard dark glass, appear to be modern productions, and are consistent with contemporary wine packaging styles.
