A Border Fine Arts ‘Halcyon Days’ limited edition sculpture by R. Ayres. This naturalistic decorative sculpture depicts a group of four vibrantly colored kingfisher birds in an aquatic setting. Three kingfishers are perched on a gnarled branch emerging from a pond, with one bird seemingly poised for flight or landing, while another smaller bird is near the water’s edge. The scene includes tall cattails, lily pads with small white flowers, and a blue dragonfly resting on a lily pad.
