Description
A group of five British coin collection folders. The lot comprises four blue cardboard coin collection folders, sealed in clear plastic, titled ‘GREAT BRITAIN FARTHINGS COLLECTION 1902 to 1936 (Number One)’, ‘GREAT BRITAIN SIXPENCE COLLECTION 1937 to DATE’, ‘GREAT BRITAIN PENNIES COLLECTION 1881 to 1901 (Number Two)’, and ‘GREAT BRITAIN HALFPENNIES COLLECTION 1902 to 1936.’ Also included is an open, tri-fold blue cardboard coin folder, marked ‘No. 9677,’ titled ‘BRITISH FARTHINGS GEORGE VI – 1936-1952,’ which includes an additional section for ‘TYPE II COINS.’ This open folder contains approximately twenty-five individual copper or bronze farthings, mostly dated between 1937 and 1952, with mintage figures printed beneath each slot; several slots are visibly empty.
