Description
A Sylvac ‘Bacchanti’ ceramic planter, model 1113. This oval, glazed earthenware jardiniere features a continuous bas-relief frieze in a classical revival style, depicting dancing or frolicking figures amidst foliage. The piece exhibits a warm tan/beige color with variations in the glaze that highlight the sculptural details. The underside is embossed with ‘SYLVAC’, ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’, and the model number ‘1113’.
