A Collection of Brass and Other Metal Candlesticks and Balance Weights
Description
This collection comprises six metal candlesticks and four traditional balance weights. The candlesticks vary in style, including two taller examples with baluster stems, two medium-sized ornate pieces featuring foliate decoration, and two smaller, simpler forms. The weights include three handled “bell” weights of descending size and one small, plug-style weight. All items appear to be cast metal, predominantly brass or bronze, exhibiting varying degrees of natural patination; one large handled weight is notably duller and silver-toned, possibly pewter or heavily tarnished.
