A vintage utilitarian metal milk churn, manufactured by Grundy (Teddington) Ltd. of Middlesex for the Express Dairy Co. London. The churn features a tapered cylindrical body with two robust loop handles on the sides and a separate, domed lid. The interior of the lid is clearly marked “EXPRESS DAIRY CO LONDON” and “MANUFACTURED BY GRUNDY (TEDDINGTON) LTD. MIDDLESEX SERIAL N° ______ / 1963”. The construction material is likely aluminum or galvanized steel.
