A Pair of Vintage Industrial Metal Trunks
Description
A pair of utilitarian metal trunks, likely dating to the early to mid-20th century. The upper trunk is painted a reddish-brown, featuring a distinctly ribbed, domed metal lid and body with metal strapping, a central keyhole escutcheon, and one visible side handle. Faint, partially illegible handwritten text, possibly “Pac-Art,” appears on its lid. The lower trunk is painted cream-yellow and similarly constructed with a less pronounced ribbed, domed metal lid, front latches, and a central escutcheon, bearing a white label with the inscription “109 Sol.”
