A Late 19th/Early 20th Century Central European Oak Tripartite Wardrobe
Description
A freestanding, tripartite wardrobe or armoire, constructed of oak. This piece exhibits characteristics of late 19th to early 20th-century traditional European furniture, with a design suggesting German or Central European influence. It features a molded cornice above two paneled outer doors and a central mirrored door. Below the doors, a full-width drawer is present, and the entire piece stands on shaped feet. Decorative elements include ornate, shield-like carved escutcheons on the upper corners of the outer doors and dark metal hardware for the door handle and drawer pulls.
