A Limoges Elite Works Porcelain Tea Service with Floral Basket Motif
Description
A Limoges Elite Works porcelain tea service, comprising numerous plates of varying sizes, saucers, teacups, a creamer, and a larger serving bowl. Each piece is adorned with a delicate multicolored floral basket motif, encircled by a purple band, and features extensive gold trim on rims, handles, and bases. Maker’s marks visible on the underside of one piece include a green stamp reading “LIMOGES ELITE FRANCE” with a shield insignia, and a red stamp below it reading “ELITE WORKS LIMOGES FRANCE” with a similar shield. A white label with “17” is affixed to one bowl.
