Description

A Moorcroft ceramic charger plate, circular and shallow-form, decorated with a hand-applied, tubelined floral motif. The design features three large, stylized hellebore-like flowers—two dark purple and one reddish-pink/cream—along with leaves and a bud, set against a background transitioning from dark teal to lighter greens and a central cream area, all finished with a high-gloss lustre glaze. The reverse is dark blue/black with a cream central well, bearing clear factory marks “MOORCROFT MADE IN STOKE ON TRENT ENGLAND,” a green impressed mark, handwritten green initials “PM,” and red handwritten “©09” and “wm.”
Diameter: 10.5 inches (27 cm)
