Royal Doulton Silicon Ware Amphora-Style Vase
Description
A Royal Doulton Silicon Ware amphora-style vase, crafted from unglazed ceramic or stoneware with a matte, earthy brown body. The vase is adorned with multiple bands of applied relief decoration, including small cream-colored beads, blue-green dots, and intricate dark brown, cream, and blue floral or knot-like patterns. The unglazed base bears an impressed circular maker’s mark, reading “SILCO” or “SILCON” within a rectangular stamp, along with the impressed number “83”. The item is presented on a separate white metal display stand.
