Description
A Moorcroft ‘Hepatica’ pattern ceramic tray or shallow dish. This rectangular ceramic piece features a raised, tube-lined floral design, rendered in a vibrant palette of purples, greens, and pinks on a cream-colored ground, with a contrasting deep purple rim. The aesthetic displays Arts and Crafts or Art Nouveau inspiration. The reverse side bears prominent green stamped marks: “MOORCROFT,” “STOKE ON TRENT,” and “ENGLAND,” alongside hand-painted “CP 99,” indicating a 1999 production date, and a stylized potter’s mark.
