A George III Style Mahogany Glazed Wall Cabinet
Description
A George III style mahogany glazed display cabinet, designed as a two-door wall-mounted unit or the upper section of a bureau bookcase. The doors are fitted with thirteen-pane astragal glazing bars in a Gothic pattern featuring pointed arches. The side panels are constructed with figured mahogany veneers. The interior is fitted with three shelves and the back is lined with a neutral-toned floral damask fabric. A single brass-lined escutcheon is located on the right-hand door frame. The cabinet is finished with a moulded cornice and base.
