A Modernist Sculptural Wirework Table Lamp
Description
A modernist sculptural table lamp featuring a dark-finished, tiered circular base that supports a bulbous, horizontally ribbed metallic sphere. From the top of the sphere, a dense spray of numerous thin copper-toned wires emerges in a fountain-like arrangement. Incorporated within the wire spray are four decorative seed-pod or flower-shaped elements constructed from a fine metallic mesh. The lamp is fitted with a black electrical cord featuring an inline thumb switch and a standard UK three-pin plug. Markings are present on the pedestal base near the cord entry, and a small white label is also present on the side, but neither is clearly legible. This electrical item is sold as untested and should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to use.
