Large Two-Tone SILVER AND BRASS Metal Statement Ring with Pietersite Cabochon SIZE P
Description
A large statement ring featuring a central oval cabochon stone. The stone is translucent to opaque with a variegated internal pattern of swirling inclusions in shades of dark brown, ochre, and grey, exhibiting the chatoyant qualities characteristic of pietersite. The stone is held within a complex multi-tiered bezel setting. The upper tier consists of a scalloped border in a yellow metal. Below this sits a band of white metal decorated with an incised pattern of repeating fan motifs. The base of the setting is finished with a row of white metal granulation. The ring is completed by a wide, plain, tapering white metal shank. No hallmarks, maker marks, or signatures are visible on the surfaces shown.
