A Vintage Silver Spray Brooch in the Glasgow Rose Style
Description
A vintage silver bar-style spray brooch featuring a stylised foliate motif. The design consists of three openwork circular elements at the base, each featuring an interweaving knot-work pattern. From this base, four long, tapering stems extend and converge at a pointed terminal. The brooch is constructed from silver with a polished finish on the raised surfaces and noticeable dark tarnish in the recessed areas. The reverse features a long metal pin stem secured with a hinge at the base and a clasp at the terminal. No characters, hallmarks, or maker’s marks are visible on the front or the visible portions of the reverse in the provided photograph.
