An Edward VII 1910 Gold HALF Sovereign Coin Pendant in a 9ct Gold Mount
Description
A yellow metal coin pendant featuring a British gold sovereign coin dated 1910. The obverse of the coin displays the profile portrait of King Edward VII facing right, surrounded by the legend EDWARDVS VII D : G : BRITT : OMN : REX F : D : IND : IMP :. The reverse depicts the traditional motif of St. George and the Dragon with the year 1910 in the exergue. The coin is composed of 22 carat gold. It is secured within a 9 carat yellow gold mount featuring a rope-twist border on the face and four flat tabs on the reverse. The pendant is suspended from a tapered bail via a circular jump ring. The bail is struck with UK hallmarks, including an impressed crown symbol and the numbers 375 within an oval cartouche; an adjacent mark to the right is present but is not legible as a specific date letter.
