Description
A group of various vintage playing cards, storage boxes, and small cases featuring natural history and card game themes. The collection includes a dark blue faux-leather covered box with the word BRIDGE printed in gold-tone lettering on the lid; it bears a white rectangular adhesive label reading SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 395 01132502626. A light-wood rectangular box is topped with a black plastic tray containing two decks of playing cards with tartan patterns, titled STEWART and MACGREGOR, each featuring a heraldic crest. One pack of playing cards is titled The Famous Garden Birds of Britain PLAYING CARDS and is marked with the maker HERITAGE TOY & GAME COMPANY LTD at the base.
